Meet Founder and Owner, Adam Lasee
Adam's journey into the accounting business wasn't an obvious one. After graduating high school, he was unclear about his next steps, so he worked at a local marriage ministry doing customer service and shipping. He enjoyed working in the business world and found learning about the ins and outs of running a business exciting. This excitement led him to earn an associate degree in accounting from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC).
After getting his degree, Adam worked as an accountant for a local church. A few years later, after starting a family with his wife and with the high cost of daycare, Adam decided to leave his job at the church and stay home with his kids. At that same time, Adam started Lasee Accounting. What he thought would be simply a side endeavor, within the next year, grew into something much more.
Adam enjoys it when everything balances, especially his clients' accounts. He takes pride in supporting his clients, whether they've never worked with an accountant or lacked attentive financial care. Adam treats his client's books as if they were his own and works closely with each client to maintain their records to be accurate and well-organized.
Adam is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses lighten their workload and reduce their tax burden. With expert tax and accounting knowledge, he helps people understand intricate and often complicated government regulations, making them easier to navigate. Whether for small businesses needing bookkeeping and accounting services or individuals with year-end tax prep, Adam supports both to help clients retain more of what they've earned.
Adam has years of experience working with businesses (including non-profits) filing tax returns for individuals and companies. He's also helped many individuals and businesses with numerous unique tax situations and is confident there isn't any issue or hard-to-understand problem that comes his way that Adam can't handle.
Adam and his wife, Katie, run Lasee Accounting. Katie left work to stay at home the kids and help Adam in the business. Together, they work continuously to help individuals and small businesses with their accounting needs in Northeast Wisconsin and beyond.
